New Year’s Celebration Showcase

Dear Students Organization Members,

The Iranian Student Cultural and Aesthetic Organization (ISCAO) cordially invites you to the 13th Annual Iranian New Year’s Celebration Showcase. Come join us as we, the Iranian students at UC Davis welcome Spring with traditional dances, poetry, skits and instrumental performances.

• When: March 7th, 2010
• Where: UC Davis Freeborn Hall
• Time: Doors open at 1:00pm, show starts at 2:00 sharp
• Prices:    Adults: $15
                         Students (With valid student ID): $12
                         Children under 6: FREE!!

The Iranian Student Cultural and Aesthetic Organization was formed with the intention to educate others and ourselves about the rich culture or Iran. As a non-profit, student-run organization, we strive to develop self-awareness and promote an understanding of Iran and Her people through the power of artistic expression. Poetry, song, dance, and spoken word are the tools through which we bring our community together. We do not support nor reject any political or religious viewpoints.

DIRECTIONS

From Sacramento to the North Entry Parking Structure
Take Interstate 80 West to Highway 113 north exit. Exit on Russell Boulevard and turn right on Russell Boulevard. Make a right on Howard Way. Make a left turn into the Parking Structure.

From Sacramento to the Visitor Parking Lot 17
Take Interstate 80 West to Highway 113 north exit. Exit on Russell Boulevard and turn right on Russell Boulevard. Turn Right onto California Avenue. Make a left turn into Visitor Parking Lot 17.

From Sacramento to Visitor Parking Lot 25
Take Interstate 80 West to Highway 113 north exit. Exit on Hutchison and turn right on Hutchison Drive. At the traffic light turn left on La Rue Road. At the next traffic light, Orchard Park Drive, turn right and pull into Parking Lot 25.

From Bay Area to the North Entry Parking Structure
Take Interstate 80 East to Highway 113 north exit. Exit on Russell Boulevard and turn right on Russell Boulevard. At the 4th traffic light turn right on on Howard Way. Make a left turn into the Parking Structure.

From Bay Area to Visitors Parking Lot 25
Take Interstate 80 East to Highway 113 north exit. Exit on Hutchison and turn right on Hutchison Drive. At the traffic light turn left on La Rue Road. At the next traffic light, Orchard Park Drive, turn right and pull into parking lot 25.

PARKING

The most convenient visitor parking for Freeborn guests is in the North entry Parking Structure or in Visitor Parking lot 25.  Parking on campus is FREE on weekends, so don't worry about buying any permits or using the meter.
